Students from WMSKL(I) recently attended an informative session led by a consultant dermatologist, who provided valuable insights into skincare and acne management.

The dermatologist began by introducing the fundamentals of skin anatomy and its functions, emphasizing the importance of a daily skincare routine. She then detailed the common types of acne and the factors contributing to its development. The presentation included slides showcasing preventive skincare measures and effective routines.

The talk underscored the significance of hygiene, diet, and lifestyle choices in maintaining clear skin. A step-by-step guide on developing a skincare routine suitable for different skin types was provided. Students were advised on the various treatment options available.
